Dr. lance bolay
Lance brings over two decades of pastoral ministry experience to his role as a spiritual director. In 2017, he established his private practice dedicated to spiritual direction and began training other spiritual directors through Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Residing in Tyler, TX, Lance concurrently serves as the Director of Mission Impact for the Mosaic Counseling Centers of East Texas.
Lance's extensive training in spiritual direction includes a two-year formal program and an apprenticeship as a spiritual direction cohort facilitator through the Institute for Christian Spirituality at Lipscomb University. Additionally, he has received formal instruction in leading contemplative prayer groups and retreats from the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation. He is certified in the Enneagram Spectrum Method and is well-versed in inner healing prayer and Ignatian spiritual formation. His academic achievements culminate in a Doctor of Ministry degree in Missional and Spiritual Formation, with a specialization in spiritual direction.
While Lance's personal religious and spiritual roots lie in the Christian tradition, he is committed to ecumenism and interfaith dialogue. His inclusive approach to spiritual direction welcomes individuals from all religious backgrounds, fostering an environment of openness and understanding.
